It all started with a dream... it was always a lifelong dream to open and operate a local business for Pierce & Cole Carpenter, but choices were always slim to none. However, in April of 2018, that would change. Coming from a background of agriculture and skilled mechanics, they felt right at home in this field of work. They found the opportunity and would open what is known as Scottsboro Small Engines today.

Soon, business began to take off. After partnering with several brands of lawn & garden equipment, SSE began to expand it's customer base and offer service work alongside equipment sales. Originally Scottsboro Small Engines was setup in a small, quaint building. Business and inventory soon would outgrow this small location.

In October of 2021, Scottsboro Small Engines would find a new home in a much more modern and spacious location.

Fast forward to today and Scottsboro Small Engines is thriving in it's newest location with the best equipment and customer base any business could ask for. We firmly believe we are a true "one-stop shop" for all landscaping needs. With quality equipment, 1,000s of stocked parts, and a thriving service department, we believe we will be able to handle all that is thrown at us. ​
